Obituary
Irina R. Yeganyan, 77, of Bellevue, Washington, died on Saturday, January 25, 2025. She was born on August 20, 1947, to parents Rachik Yeganyan and Heghine Samvelova in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Irina graduated from Azerbaijan Medical University. She practiced as an OB/GYN in Baku, Azerbaijan, and Yerevan, Armenia, until 1997 when she relocated to the United States.
Irina loved reading, theater, and shopping. She was always a very sharp dresser and enjoyed many compliments on her appearance throughout her life.
Irina is survived by her daughter Zara, son-in-law Sergey, grandchildren Archer and Gregory, and sister Sofya.
Irina was preceded in death by her parents Rachik and Heghine.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Bonney Watson Funeral Home, 16445 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA 98188.
The interment will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, 8712 12th Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98117 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM.
A reception will follow at 3:00 PM at Armenian House, 11423 Redmond – Woodinville Rd NE, Redmond, WA 98052.
