Maria,

John and I are both shocked and saddened at the sudden loss of ‘Sweet Stan’. We have commented often that you two have always been so respectfully ‘joined at the hip’.We will be in touch with you as soon as we return to Washington.

Love ya…John Procter & Darlene Heskett

We were so happy to have known such a sweet and wonderful man. He was a devoted and loving husband to our sweet Maria.

May he rest in peace forever in the arms of Jesus.

All our love and prayers,

Guy and Mary Magno

I worked with Stan through all his time at Red Dot. Hs is a great example of an employee who quietly went about his work and made a major contributation to the success of our company.

Dear Maria,

We were saddened to hear about Stan’s passing. I have happy memories of visiting Stan at Alki when were kids. He was always so nice to us and would let us ride in his nice new car. It was fun to talk and catch up with him at the family gatherings. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Love,

Anne & Fran

So shocked and saddened by cousin Stanley’s passing. Although I haven’t seen him in many years, I’ll always remember our early years with big yearly family Thanksgiving and clam bake festivities. As I told you, Maria, I’ll also never forget when he got stuck in our laundry chute and we had to call the fire department!

We’ll miss him too; our prayers are with you.

We were very sad to learn of Stan’s passing. Stan was the second engineer hired by Harky Runnings the founder of Red Dot, and was the first full time engineer. In the early days, he was the engineering department. I worked with Stan since 1972. We lived through the “fire” at Red Dot together, along with going from slide rules to calculators and drafting boards to computers. We collabrated on numerous designs. Stan was a very creative engineer. His ability to create prototypes of his designs from cardboard was unmatched. I will miss him.

I also knew and worked with Stan at Red Dot thru his retirement. I enjoyed many a conversation with him regarding his love for sporty cars and the search for a his Subaru SVX. Rest in peace Stan!

I worked with Stan the last couple of years before his retirement at Red Dot. He was always very friendly and helpful to me. Rest in peace.
