Jack Wendell Faulkner, age 94, went to be with his Lord on September 11, 2018 in his home at Cristwood Senior Living. Jack graduated from Bob Jones University where he met and married Mary Ellen Farris, his bride of 61 years.
Jack was a strong man of faith in Christ who lived his life serving others. Later in his career, he started his own accounting practice, serving tax clients into his 90’s, including a position as President of a chapter of Washington Association of Accountants.
As a founding member, Jack loved serving at Berean Bible Church where he was Treasurer for many years. Above all, Jack was a family man who simply enjoyed spending time together, preferably in the sunshine! May Family and Friends of Jack always cherish those precious memories that you shared and created with him and May you find comfort, hope and peace in Gods Word. Acts 24:15, John 6:40, Isaiah 33:24
So sorry for your loss. I have many great memories of growing up around your family.Your parents were always so kind to me.
I worked in the same building near Westlake & Denny Way, Seattle where Jack had his accounting office from 1979 to 1993. I worked for Pacific NW Bell Telephone Co. in the only office the phone company had there. There were still other businesses located there too. Disney Productions even had an office there for a while.
Jack was friends with all the people who worked for these other businesses, and some of them were wonderful people too. They almost always had morning coffee and lunch together in the building’s breakroom every day. I joined them and chatted with them several times over the years.
Jack was a very friendly and welcoming person who seems to have genuinely liked people and genuinely had an interest in people no matter what background they came from. Always, positive and upbeat, I don’t think he ever had an unkind word to say about anybody.
He had sympathy and empathy even for people who did not work for his business.
I will always remember him as a good teanant and neighbor in our building. My condolences to his family for their loss.
