Obituary
Born October 9, 1941 to Arno and Betty Tremann in Glendive Montana. Jim died from complications of Hemochromatosis Iron Overload Disease on October 2, 2005 in Redmond. After graduating from medical school at the University of Minnesota, he went on to serve in the U.S. Public Health Service from ’66 to ’72. Jim was a clinical professor at the University of Washington from ’72 to ’78. He turned to private practice in ’78 and retired in ’04. In addition to his professional career, he enjoyed spending time outdoors with his family and friends. Jim is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nancy, his daughter, Lisa Bowman, and his son, John. He is also survived by his parents, two brothers, John and Chuck, three sisters, Linda Shermock, Kathy Rieppel, Betsy Berglund, and four grandchildren.
A memorial celebration of his life will be held at Bonney-Watson Funeral Home, 1732 Broadway, Seattle, 98122 on Friday, October 7 at 2pm. Thanks to my daughter, Stephanie John-Lewis, it was a pleasure getting to know you and your family. You were an inspiration to all who met you and I considered myself lucky to be one of them. You will be dearly missed.
There is nothing more dear to my heart than the love I have for my big brother Jimmy. He was always there for all of us when we needed him. I miss you so much and you will always be in my memories.
My big brother Jim was a wonderful and caring brother. So giving and loving to his family. We had wonderful family reunions. My memories of Jim I will hold dear to my heart. I love you so very much, Jimmy.

I have known Jim for 10 yrs or so..I helped him and Nancy with a number of trasactions over the years…he was one of the finest people that I have ever worked with…I enjoyed meeting with him and Nancy as Jim was always so postive and friendly about everyhting …I wish I would have gotten to know him better in the span that I knew him
