Obituary
James (Jim) Frary
Jim Frary passed away peacefully on January 31, 2014. He was born on January 13, 1921 in South Bend, WA to Frederick and Bessie Frary. He is preceded in death by his wife Beverly. He is survived by son Jim Jr.(Linda). and daughters Lori Frary and Barbara Holt (Jeff), 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. At Jim’s request, no services will be held. Donations may be made to the Museum of Flight, Seattle or the American Heart Association.
Psalm 90:10 states that a normal life span is 70 years but if because of special mightiness 80. Mr.Frary certainly lived a long life and I’m sure was dearly loved by his family and friends. May you all find comfort and hope in our Heavenly Fathers promise to very soon bring about a changed condition to this earth where sickness and death will be done away with (Rev. 21:4,5) and there will be a bringing back to life instead of losing. (John 5:28,29)
Dear Jim, Lori and Barb. Please accept my sincere sympathy in the loss of your Dad. He was the best person I have ever worked for in all of my working days and I loved reporting to him in my years at Weyerhaeuser. As the years passed after I left Weyerhaeuser in 1983, I did not keep in regular contact with him, but I always thought my working years with him were some of my best years ever. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.
We are sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. Ninety three years is a long life and well done. I knew Jim (and Bev) from days in Cosmopolis and in Longview before that. Jim served as Purchasing Manager for the construction of the Weyeraeuser Cosmpolis Pulp Mill and later as the Purchasing Manager for the operating plant. Jim was a member of the Central Park Lions Club back then (1961). I recall a Halloween costume party at the Cosmopolis Lions. Jim and Bev and the Art Hardings came in Gypsy costumes, including jar rings for giant earrings! I feel fortunate to call Jim a friend.
