James M. Hatfield

 

Jim Hatfield was born in Olympia, Washington on September 9, 1925. He was a 1942 graduate of Centralia High School and a WWII officer in the Army Air Corps. He attended college at Oregon State, started at the Boeing Company as an Industrial Engineer, in management for 37 years and his last 8 years were as a Management Consultant overseas. He was an avid traveler with his well-worn golf clubs with him at all times. While based in Bagdad, London and Norway, he played golf in Spain, Sweden, Scotland, Ireland, Portugal, Greece, Africa, Bali, Fiji, Australia and Hawaii. He left on a new adventure on May 31, 2012.

 

Preceded in death by his son, Bruce, he is survived by his wife of 67 years, Polina, his daughter, Ginger and husband, Kim Cruchon, grandsons: Kenneth Cruchon, Donald Cruchon, Brendyn Hatfield, Cameron Hatfield, brother Joe Hatfield, sister Mary and husband Dana Williams and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves an abundance of friends.
