James Michael Pantano

Obituary
Born, March 12, 1938, passed away peacefully February 16, 2018. He was born to Nicholas and Louise Pantano in Seattle, Washington. As a child he worked with his Grandfather on the family farm. He had a close bond with his Dad and it was strengthened by years of fishing, hunting, and making wine with him. He married Edith Susan (Sue) Hope in 1962 until her passing in 1991. They were blessed with two children, Michael Pantano (Burien, WA) and Melissa Swansen (Tacoma, WA). Jim enjoyed working in maintenance and operations at South Seattle Community college, retiring in 1993.
Jim found love again with Nancy and they were happily married for 23 years. Jim loved Alaska, spending many happy days on cruises with his wife and Sweetie, Nancy. She was a devoted wife, companion, and care giver during the years of his health concerns. Jim adored fishing and cherished the friendships he made being a member of the Drifters Fishing club.
He will be forever missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Louise Pantano and sister, Donna Jean Myer.
He is survived by Wife, Children, and Grandchildren: Kelsey (Drew) Latsch, Taylor Swansen and Zachery Swansen, and Great Grandchildren: Aedan and Owen Latsch, as well as family and friends.
