To The Thorlacius Family-

I’m so sorry to here about the passing of Jim! Although Jim, and I haven’t been aquainted for several years, we were good friends for several years as children! My fondest memories are of him, and I staying up late, and watching “The Tonight Show”, with Johnny Carson. Also, we use to go to his dad’s shop in South Park, and build Hydro boats out of scrap wood! That was in addition to the endless summer day’s of bike riding, and our favorite-playing basketball together!I still have a photo of our 6th grade championship basketball team! These, and many other memories of Jim, will be cherished forever! Again, my deepest sympathy! – Ken Evetts

To the Thorlacius Family,

I am deeply saddened by the passing of your beloved Brother, Jim. I’m appalled by the number of losses you’ve all endured these past few years. I admire your courage and hope that your hearts are healed by the love and memories that each of you have for Jim.

Jim was especially playful and fun to be around. He was very giving and had a heart of gold. May he rest now, in peace. Sincerely, Brenda Mayer & The Mayer Family

What a terrible loss to his friends and family. Jim had a magnetic personality and a great sense of humor. I grew up with Jim, he will be greatly missed. May god bless his family.
