Mom
Mom, a true angel. I’m not the only one who saw the wings. Mom was a servant to
all and the best friend you could ever have. After her Fathers death, her Mom had to
work so she quit school and raised her three brothers. After a move to Texas she ended
up in Santa Monica Ca. Mom went back to school and got her G.E.D. and a Beauty
operators license. She worked at this until the war broke out. Then it was move over
to McDonald Douglas to help build airplanes. One Friday night on the town she met
this guy who swept her off her feet. Small problem was his deployment for three
years in the south Pacific. Mom waited all three years. This was the start of 62 years
of her marriage. The three of us kids grew up in a home full of love. The servant angel
and Dad gave us unconditional love, more than we deserved. Nobody entered Moms
life without receiving her love, compassion and forgiveness. Never a thought for her
own well being, but always for others. Mom was the rock in our lives to the end. Mom
was way ahead of her time. The lord will say to her, good job my loving and faithful
servant. She will be missed but at the same time be a blessing that will be with us the
rest of our lives. Mom, you will be loved forever by all you have touched.
