Dear Auntie Jean,

You are one of the toughest gals I’ve ever met and I will always remember that. But above all, that toughness was tempered by your optimism and spirit and love for the people around you and living every moment to its fullest. Thank you Jean. You will be sorely missed, but forever loved.

Love,

Matt

Sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. I didn’t know her well but I did know she was a loving and giving person as were her brothers.

Each departed friend is a magnet that attracts us to the next world.

Jeff & Bruce,

So sad to hear your mom passed away. She was a wonderful person, always ready with a smile. She was a great Tennis and Badminton player where I met her, and was such fun to be around. We miss her.

Dear Bruce and Jeff,

Your Mom has a very special place in my life. I have always admired her independent spirit and the way she made you feel so welcome and loved. She will always be in my memories.

Rest well Nanty. I love you.

Bruce and Jeff,

I was so sorry to hear about your mom. I have many fond memories of growing up and spending time with you all, Irene and Jack, Judy, Teri and Pat. I always felt when things were falling apart at my house, I had a safe place to go. Your mom was always there with Irene, offering a smile or something to laugh at! Hold onto your memories – even though it is a difficult time right now, it’s those memories that last a lifetime.

My family moved to Normandy Park in 1962 right next door to the most amazing, funny and generous family, the Dobszinskys. We laughed with Marge and Ernie, especially Marge. Later when Jean and her family moved into the home, the laughter continued. After my Dad was gone, my mom was so lucky to have such good support and friendship a few feet away. I used to visit Jean in her later home, getting caught up on all of the gossip and, as usual, laughing a lot. These are great memories for me and I will cherish knowing Jean always.

Dear Bruce and Jeff – your mom often said that both of you were the most meaningful accomplishment of her life. She was so special and important to me also … she was my “other” mom and I am a better person for having had her in my life! I love you, Nanty! Your niece, Teri
