I’m Free
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free
I’m following the path God laid for me.
I took His had when I heard Him Call
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
I found that place at the close of day.
If my passing has left a void
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss.
Ah yes, these things, I too, will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow.
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full, I savored much
Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief;
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me
God wanted me now, He set me free.
I miss you Jean. Jean was such a quick wit and I never heard a negative thing escape her mouth. I loved her humor and her quiet way. She was so very proud of all her kids and grandkids. My prayers are with her family. I will never forget you Jean!!
My mother was the greatest of all people. She taught me about peace and forgiving others despite what was done to me. I know I have other people that care about me but it’ll never replace a mothers love, nothing will replace her love. Thank you mom for everything that you have done for me I’ll never forget you no matter what comes my way.
In our Hearts
We though of you with love today.
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday.
And days before that too.
We think of you in silence.
We often speak your name.
Now all we have is memories.
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake.
With which we’ll never part.
God has you in his keeping.
We have you in our heart.

I know that words will not help to take away the pain. Only time will lessen it, but it will still be there. She will be missed but will always be in your hearts and minds forever.
I will be praying for your family.
I miss you mom.
My prayers and synmpathy.
There is a wonderful country song “When I get where I am goin” that will always remind me of Jean. I will always remember her wonderful smile and how her eyes lit up when she talked about her family. I miss you Jean, may you be at peace with God.
I worked with Jean in Seattle every day. Jean was a bright light in our office and in my life. I could always count on her for cracking a great joke when we were under pressure. When I think of her, I have so many fond memories. I have no words to express how much I am going to miss her. I still can’t believe she left us so fast. My heart is very broken and I will miss seeing her smiling face every day. My heart goes out to her family. Please know that she was so adored by me. I will miss her gentle, true and beautiful spirit.
Mom was so much more than just mom. She was a true best friend. Have you ever known someone more easy to talk to? To me, mom was real. She has always been, and will be, an inspiration to my faith, and to “be all I can be” as a father and husband as well as a friend and a neighbor. Her love of her family was un-shakable, and her love of God was un-mistakable. I can only hope to achieve the ability to be half of what my mom was, and always will be.
My prayers go out to the family. Jean and I have worked close together over the past couple of years via telephone, conference calls, etc. I liked and respected Jean very much. She was an expert in her area of responsibility and will surely be missed.
I will miss Jean, she had such a quick wit and great sense of humor. She kept us laughing at work. Jean’s family was her pride and joy. I pray for peace and comfort in your hearts.
Jean is one of the most wonderful people I have had the pleasure to know. She very quickly found a special place in my heart. I love you Jean…
Our early years together in Reedsburg and our summer visits on the marsh will never be forgotten as you were a sweet then as you lived your life. We love you!

I enjoyed working with Jean at Qwest, and getting to know her before her move to Washington. She will leave a large void in the lives of those who knew her.
We’ve known Jean many years through work. She was a dedicated, admired and thoughtful employee. She was instrumental to the business and customers, alike. We will miss her and send our heartfelt condolences and sympathies to her family and friends.

Hi charlene,
I am so sorry for your loss. My heart is sad for your sadness, and you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I have no knowledge of what this is like for you, but there are always people who will be here for you. Let me know if you need anything at all.
Don’t forget to take care of yourself and your family in all of this.

I was saddened to see your mom’s obituary; however, after reading the prayer on the site, I know how she felt about Jesus and I know she’s alright. God Bless you all.

The most wonderfull person I have ever known has gone on to a better place.
I love you Mom.
For our grandchildren Kelsey, Loren, Tyler, Adrianna and all of Jean’s family: We share your sorrow and extend our sympathy to each and every one of you whose lives she shared. May you find peace and understanding following your grief for her passing. Again, our deepest sympathy to you.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Jean was such a wonderful person and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to work with her over the years. She will be missed but never forgotten.
Jean & I were the best of friends, growing up in Warrens. I stayed overnight at her house many times growing up. I was recently in touch with Jean by email. We talked like we had when we were growing up. Then, I didn’t hear from her. Now, I know why. May God give her children and grandchildren strength to get through this loss.
Jean was special in so many ways!! Just recently she took time out of her busy day to come to my cube at work and share concern for another co-worker. Her ever caring kindness, love and contagious smile will always be remembered! A piece of her will live on in all the lives she touched. Thoughts and prayers to her family and other loved ones.
I sit in the cubical next to Jean’s desk at work. I still look up expecting to see the top half of her face, waiting to get my attention to tell me something or ask a question. Jean and I constantly and relentlessly gave each other a fun spirited hard time – unlike any other friend. Her wit and charm brought laughter to not only me, but to those listening around us. I miss my dear friend, Jean.
I am very fortunate to have had a special conversation with Jean, just weeks before her passing. I told her how important she is to me, and how much our friendship means to me. I think of this conversation often and it warms my heart.
When I think of Jean, I can’t help but smile. I believe she’s moved into another dimension and as she reflects back to the people within her life, she is widely aware of the enormous love that surrounds her.
Jean, I will miss you. You were always there, a constant of what was right and good. You understood that it is not always easy but perserved. I loved you as my friend and will always miss you. Lisa
We were so sad to hear of your mother’s death. Our memories of her: when we visited June/Jim and she would be there. Always loving and endearing. Our classmate also.
Jean was such a special friend and co-worker to me. I miss her but know she is in a better place. May you find peace in knowing how much she was loved not only here on earth but most importantly by her Heavenly Father.
God’s Blessings To You.

I pray that God will watch over you as you mourn the loss of your mother. I remember the good times we had in high school classes. She was always smiling.
