Obituary

Jean Marie Bosshart of Auburn passed away December 7, 2006, at Auburn Regional Medical Center of congestive heart failure at the age of 77.

She was born on November 10, 1929, in Kent to Silvio and Dora Crispi. Jean grew up on ”Wall Street” in Thomas, which is a part of Kent. She graduated from Kent High School.

Jean married Edward H. Bosshart on April 16, 1948. They raised their three children in Auburn, and have maintained friendships with numerous area residents over the years.

She enjoyed raising flowers and her delicious tomatoes; crocheting and craft making; baking special cookies, pies and cakes for everyone; was an avid reader of novels and solver of crosswords and word searches; loved playing bingo, cards and games; and spending time with her family and friends.

Jean will long be remembered for her generous nature; her devotion to her husband, parents, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends; her love of life; and celebrating all of the traditions that go with birthdays, holidays, births and weddings.

Jean was preceded in death by her mother and father, and brother Ernest Crispi. She is survived by her husband, Edward; children Dennis Cynde of Renton, Gayle of Federal Way, and Patrick of Auburn; brother Harold Crispi Maxine of Florida; grandchildren Erica Sorensen of Covington, Jason of Federal Way, Jonathan of Kent, and Sherridan of Auburn; great grandchildren Ryan Sorensen of Covington, Olivia of Kent and another due in February 2007; numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews.

Viewing is from noon until 8 p.m. Thursday, December 14, and also on Friday, December 15, at 9 a.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 15, 2006 all at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 16445 International Blvd., SeaTac, with burial following at Washington Memorial Park.

Remembrances may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, or charity of the donors choice. Jean will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Jean & I have been friends since we were babies,. Both of us were born in Thomas, on Wall St. We played dolls together, went to school together & double dated. She was in our wedding and she & Ed have been our close friends ever since. She was a wonderful & caring person & we will surely miss her.
