Obituary
Jeannette Clara Hilsen, age 88, died peacefully November 29, 2008. She is survived by daughters, Marilyn, Adele and Louise Hilsen; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Thank you to John VanBodegom MD, Jacquelin Tran MD and Robert Randolph MD. Remembrances: Union Gospel Mission, Salvation Army or Highline Hospice. Jeannette’s last 12 months were spent at the Starlake Adult Family Home. Thank you, Vali, for your watchful, joyful and gentle care.
I’d like to first say thank you to the family for allowing me and my family to know someone as wonderful as Jeni. It was a pleasure caring for her and getting to know her. Our condolences go out to the family and i know Jeni will always look down on us as she has become an angel in a better place.

What a blessing to have encountered your mom. Upon our first meeting we discovered that she and my grandmother share the same name and spell it the same. Their husbands had the same name. That first quilt she brought me was for a granddaughter, Cathy, my name. Their last names were similar and they were from the same part of the country. It felt like we were from the same family tree. I always enjoyed quilting for your mom and visiting with her. She has a left a beautiful legacy in you. May the light of her spirit continue to shine on us all through each of you.
