Our hearts are breaking for you, dear friend. Should you need a shoulder, it’s here. Should you need to talk, there is always an ear.
We have known Jeff for over 20 years- from motorcycle trips in Bellingham & the San Juans to spending a few weeks with my family in Kodiak, AK, to weekly mountain biking trips at St. Edwards park. Jeff & I were out riding just the Monday before I received word of his passing, and I have since been struggling to put into words the ways he touched our family. He will be greatly missed as a solid, thoughtful friend, as a conoisseur of all things wacky, and as a man who had worked hard at finding his place in this world. Jeff, we miss you.

Once upon a time, long ago,as matter of fact in another world,I have my first memory of a friend. We were playing in a place that doesn’t even really exist.”Morrie’s Field” we called it.I remember that smile under flaxen hair. Then I knew him as Guy.My friend,he liked to talk.As he was a bit of a hero to me,I liked listen. But he was a fair friend and would listen too.I remember him a bit mischievous, but noble also.I always have and always will carry a piece of Jeff in every friendship I have, even though our paths long ago parted. He was special and I know many others will always hold a part of him in their hearts too.
RIP Lazy Cracker, you will be missed.
I’ll miss you. Thanks for being such a loyal and great friend, and for trying to be present even as you were in the depths of depression. You were part of each and every one of the last 25 years of my life, and it won’t be the same without you. You are free.
I was so sorry to hear of Jeff’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Love, Nancy
I’ll miss you Jeff. I always admired and will never forget your free spirit and courage. You were truly one of a kind. Godspeed.
Please accept our condolences during this difficult time.
