I am so glad I got to know Jerry, even if it was only for a little while.
I will truly miss seeing Jerry’s smile. Nice guy gone to soon.
I met Jerry back in 2004 and we became good friends working together for the same company.
Jerry was my mentor at work since he had a lot more experience in the process of conducting our daily work routines.
I later became his supervisor and after that I recommended him to my Lead Men.

Dear Jerry , it has been a pleasure working with you. I loved when we would have breakfast burritos because everyone was in a good mood . Life was like a Nascar race. You ran the race at full throttle . thanks for all the found memories .
Jerry and I car pooled for quite some time. During that time I got to know quite a bit about him and his life as well as his time in the Military. From the coffee at the 7-11 before heading to work to the griping about work on the long way home, good times.
If there is one good thing out of all this it is that you are no longer suffering or in pain, you are and will be missed.

I met Jerry at work when I came here 1 1/2 years ago. He always watched out for me and made sure if i made a mistake he would fix it. I found him to be a kind and patient man. He will be missed by our LASD family and myself.
On behalf of the Fleet Unit and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, I would like to express our condolences. Jerry was a good friend to us all and a conscientious worker who goes above and beyond to support the mission of the LASD Fleet Unit.
