I had the joy to be able to work with Jessie in Elementary school and she was a joy to have in class. Her smile was one of my highlights of our time together. I can remember working with Jessie on her reading and she and I had such a good time learning the words push and pull. She would sit across the desk from me and as we would go over the words she would take my hand and gently push and pull me back and forth across the desk top. We would have such fun when we worked together. Please accept my condolences on your loss. Jessie was a wonderful human being.

In our lifetime, a special person enters our lives and touches our hearts in a way one did not know was possible. I’m certain Jessie did this for the past 20 years for Molly, Bob, Jordan and Lorrin and her father Marty. She certainly touched my heart in the short time I’ve known her. May she fly with the angels. We love you Jessie.

Oh Jessie,

We were just talking about you the other day. Wondering how you are. What a beautiful girl. Jessie was always at practice and tournaments watching her brother Jordan wrestle. She brought a happy smile and sunshine everywhere with her.

I came across your notice today in the newspaper and don’t know what to say. I have so many fond memories as yours, and Marcies’ camp counselor. There were times where I nearly had to pry you 2 apart. I remember counless dances, art projects and the “girl talks” of late nights. You are so special!

I have wonderful memories of Jessie. I was her 6th grade teacher and spent so much time learning and growing with Jessie. We would tell jokes and we laughed and laughed. She was the one who brightened many of our days at Midway. I had the priviledge of seeing Jessie at her Senior Prom last spring. I will never forget how pretty she looked. She had the most stunning dress on. It was so wonderful to see Jessie after all those years. She is an angel and is now with the Lord. My heart and prayers are with her family. She will be missed.

Sincerely, Sally B.

I will always remember Jesse and Marcie – two peas in a pod – looking out for each other, laughing and playing together when they came to our home with Marty on Fox Island or we visited with them on Horsehead Bay. It was like they had their own language and it was always sweet and endearing, encouraging and uplifting. Jesse will be missed and I pray for peace and comfort to all her dear friends and family. But we can also rejoice in the fact that she is now whole and in heaven.

I was schocked to learn the sad news of the untimely death of Jessie Stair. I feel very honord to have had Jessie in my class for three years. Jessie was a center of attention in my class and among Tyee students. Her beautiful smile always brightened my day. Her loss to us all is irreparable but we have to bow before the will of the Almighty. May God grant peace to Jessie’s soul and strength to all who loved her to bear her loss. Jessie will be missed. Once again, I express my heart-felt sympathy.

Peace,

Sukhi Dhami
