Joan Yvonne BROWN
Born November 21st, 1930, passed peacefully into gentle rain and soft starlight on April 6th, 2005. She became the warm breezes, shimmering seas and sparkling sunlight -all things beautiful and in them she will be seen and remembered. Loving and honest, generous and smiling through many hardships – an exceptional soul. That more were like her, all good things would be accomplished in this world. A dear friend to all and dedicated mother to her sons: Stephen, Scott and Timothy Miller. She loved travel, gardening, and especially her Yorkies.
I was struck by the poetic and sincere feelings expressed in Joan’s obituary. I did not know her but saw the memories in the newspaper and was touched.
