Obituary
Jack Hozack, a proud 1939 graduate of Foster High School, passed away peacefully on December 7th, surrounded by his family. Jack was born in Tukwila, WA on July 16, 1921. Dad always said, “Tukwila was the greatest place in the world to grow up.” He had many friends and funny stories of the pranks he and Emery Schaffer used to pull. Dad was a Navy veteran and very proud of his contribution to his country during WWII and the Korean War. He went to work for Bean Electric Co. on SW 1st Avenue after WWII. Continuing in the electrical business, Jack founded Jack Hozack Inc. in 1972 and worked until his retirement in 1996. The business still flourishes today under the Hozack Inc. name. Jack loved his wife and family more than anything in this world. A man of integrity, character and grace, he is now united again with his wife Maggie, his mom, dad and brother Joe and sister, Beth. He will be dearly missed by all. We love you Dad. Committal and military honors will be held at the Chapel of Memories at BONNEY-WATSON Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd., SeaTac, WA (206) 242-1787 on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 1:00 pm. The family prefers memorial contributions be made to the Foster High School Basketball Team.

Uncle Jack,
How much fun we all had in the station wagon going out of Shady Lake! You were so much fun and I am so glad to have had an Uncle as funny and loving as you!
Love to all the Hozack family in this difficult time…what memories we have made together! Cousin Mary Ann
Whenever I saw Jack he had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye…just the kind of fellow to be blessed with a long and happy life. Warm regards to his family, Jacque Burkhalter
When I think of Uncle Jack, it brings to mind how he would talk about his children and their families and you could hear the love and pride in his voice. The next things that remind me of him is golf and cars! He loved both. We’ll miss you.
Love to all,
Sherry
PS: Joe is on his way to Seattle and will be there on Wednesday to join all of you.
I will deeply miss you. I so enjoyed all the hours we shared. I will miss hearing your wonderful stories and seeing your endless smile.

Jack’s Children and Family:
We were so sorry to hear of Jack’s passing. We spent many days golfing with Jack both at Rainier G
Mary and I are very sorry to hear of the passing of Jack. He was always easy to work with when he managed Bean Electric in Wenatchee. He and I enjoyed fishing trips and meeting up at electrical shows. We will remember him in our prayers.
Jack’s Children and Family:
We were so sorry to hear of Jack’s passing. We spent many days playing golf with Jack both at Rainier G
We knew Jack for a short time, but everytime he would come in the Cafe I just loved sitting and talking with him – seemed like I had known him for years.
Uncle Jack always had a twinkle in his eye and a smile on his face. I always felt loved by Uncle Jack and will have fond memories of him forever. I am sorry for the loss his children feel but I am glad they had such a wonderful father.
Blessings to the Hozack Clan this evening. I know Jack’s absence will be felt deeply by each of you. I found your Dad to be so gracious (a Hozack trait you all share), intriguing, dynamic and a rather grand and lovable Elder. I am grateful you all had some time together lately and that he was surrounded by your loving and attentive selves.
I very much appreciated the opportunity given me by Jack.
Many Many fond memories in the 20 odd years working with him.
Our condolences.
Stay close, Dad. ps Thanks for the bridedoll.
