John was a dear friend and great brother, companion, and Sir Knight. He loved his Commandery work and preformed with great dignity and pride. I have many pleasant memories that I will cherish as long as I live.

AS THE CURTAIN FALLS

“There comes a time for all of us when we must say “goodby.”

But faith and love and trust can never, never die:

Altho the curtain falls at last, is that a cause to grieve?

The future’s fairer now, the past if only we believe.

And trust in God,s eternal care, So when the Master calls.

Lets say that life is still more fair,

Altho’ the curtain fall’s!
