Obituary
John Kvinge, age 84, died peacefully at home with his family by his side on Saturday, March 26, 2011. John is survived by his sons, Jorn Kim Kvinge, Terje Kvinge, Owen Kym Kvinge and Arne Shawn Kvinge; eight grandchildren, Henry, Mimi, Leif, Donnya, Vesla, Elsa, Ahna and Alek; sisters, Karen Bjornevik and Martha Karin Valrygg; brother, Joachim Kirsten Kvinge and numerous nieces and nephews. John was a member of Sons of Norway, Seattle/Bergen Sister City Association, Norwegian Seaman-War veterans association and Norwegian Commercial Club. He was member and volunteer the Nordic Heritage Museum. There will be a celebration of his life held on Monday, April 4th, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Leif Erikson Lodge, Sons of Norway, 2245 NW 57th, Seattle, WA 98107. In lieu of flowers please send a contribution to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center or Nordic Heritage Museum.
