My condolences to my dear and oldest friend….it so hard to lose a parent. It’s a joyful thing that you had him in your life for as long as you did! He always had a smile and was such a good man. He’s up there at that “greek restaurant” dancing and having a good time and probably sitting at the same table with my dad!! Love to you and the rest of the family….Cindy
Johns first cousin Ekaterini and her son Dimitrios Bereveskos would like to express their deepest and sincerest condolences. Our hearts and thoughts are with the family always.
Collette,
My thoughts go out to you and your family during this difficult time. I remember your father from when you and I were in elementary school together. I recall him being an involved and caring parent, and that is truly something to be thankful for. I know you will have many wonderful memories to give you strength in the times ahead.
Love, Lisa

You will be with us forever.
With love,
Nikos
P.S. You have left Lola in good hands. Don’t worry at all, you know that.
From his beautiful daughter Collette and son-in-law, Nikkos, I saw pictures and heard wonderful stories of a man who loved life and loved his family. And, through Collette and Nikkos, I felt the love and tenderness returned every day to her father – although I did not know him personally, I felt as though I did because of Collette and Nikkos. The love within this family is beautiful to behold – my heart and thoughts are with all of you. May the memories always bring a smile even as the tears may flow.
I only know you Collette; but I know of your love for family and extended family and your father.
With deepest respect to you and your loved ones and your beloved father.
To a great Koumbaro,Individual,Greek and family friend.
A person so humble, that his accomplishments were never noted to others.
Consumate physical conditioner and took great pride in his overal physique.
A real “GREEK” who was the epitomy of a great husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
God Bless

Collette,
My sincere condolences to you and your famlly. My fondest memory as a kid was your dad “telling us to get out in the sun” and seeing him at our favorite beach, Golden Gardens.
Dearest Colo and family:
What a wonderful, full life your Dad lived. I think he’s in a much better place now looking down and watching his whole family. I have many fond memories of your Dad thru the years which I will share with you….I loved celebrating his 90th birthday at lunch this year. fondly,
To all the members of the Sioris family,
I am sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed talking to him and attempted to help he and Lola in any way that I could. I will miss being referred to as the bird. I felt priviledged to be invited to his 90th birthday lunch and I was honored by the trust he extended to me. I know that he is now at peace.
Collette,
Thinking of you during these difficult times. May you find comfort in the wonderful memories that will be with you always!
Hugs to you,
Uncle John was a true Uncle. He was my favorite Uncle. My role model. It was beause of Uncle John that I chose a career in the fitness industry. He was always so active and I wanted to be in as great as shape at 70 as he was.Uncle John loved his family. When I would ask him how Collette or Vicky are doing is eyes would light up as bright as a candle and he would say they are doing just fine. He was a great man and I will miss him.
Collette,
I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I just wanted to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and I wish your father peace.
May his memory be eternal.
Love,
Helen
My father Yianni, was the best, and not being here to run the show, well that’s the way it goes I guess.
I can feel him watching and listening to all that’s going on here. Thank God he knew how much we loved him and that his Lola is in good hands with us. He will be at ease with this final good bye and hope that he enjoys it.
I’ll love you forever dad.
Andio, Dad! Kalo Taxidi!
You will always be remembered by all of us and I will never forget our “last” hug.
Thanks for all you did and I know you will be watching over all of us.
Love you forever,
To my grandfather that used to kiss me so hard on my cheek it hurt from his day shadow even though I loved it and always gave the best hugs. The love that was always shown and the pride in his eyes, bring a smile, and calmness to my grieving. These are the memories I choose to keep and remember my great , sweet, and strong grandfather. My soon to be daughter will know what a great man, father and grandfather he was.
I love you and I know you will always be close to me.
Yiasou Papoo! Kalo Taxidi.
You were always there for all of the family all those years. You and Yiayia. Eisoun san Pateras yia mena kai tha mou lipis.
May you rest in peace.
My nounogodfatherJohn Sioris was the epitome of a “Man’s Man”.He was the Greek “Jack Lalone”; healthy and physically fit. A USA military hero who never spoke publically about his accomplishments.A gentle and kind father who suffered personal tragedy with the loss of his young child.A principled man who sincerely and compassionately embraced his loving wife “Lola”; his two daughters, grandchildren, many close friends and his church.John was a proud Greek American. I have never heard a negative comment regarding my nouno, John Sioris. We should all strive to emulate his strong, dependable character and conduct for he represents the standard of a Greek Orthodox Christian individual.May his memory be eternal.

We all loved John very much. He had so much character and a great smile. We loved seeing him and his beloved wife together. They were a picture of love. Thank you for sharing John with us.
I had such an enormous respect for John and the life he led. I regret I didn’t get to know him long, but I’ll never forget his smile and the love he had for Lola.
My deep and abiding condolences to you.
Uncle John was a wonderful uncle. I always enjoyed hearing his stories about his legendary strength and work ethic., and of course his body-building days and strong physique which he was so proud to share pictures of. His strength endured into his last months, always with a smile and a tight squeeze and hug.
Collette and Niko..You gave him what every parent cherishes…time together. His quality of life was so much better because you were there and gave him your time and energy, companionship, caring, security, and love, and tended to all of his needs..not only for him but for my Auntie Lola as well and your continuing challenges that come with her illness.
To all of his family, he spoke with so much love and pride and I saw how much love he had for all of you. I will always cherish those memories.
Mom will also miss her brother and all the good times they shared together.
May he rest in peace.
Love, your niece Sotria Kritsonis and sister Katina Kritsonis
A “superhero” to his family, my beloved Grandfather John Louis Sioris will always be in my heart, my head, and over my right shoulder, walking with me during my journey… …to be a “superhero” in the eyes of my children and grandchildren. I Love you Papoo. Your grandson, John Lee Stantinos.
