Bud was a fan of the Mariners and enjoyed watching every game. Bud also enjoyed many great games of pinochle. Bud loved to reminisce about his days operating the tugboats he worked on, his days at the mill and his work when he ran his own business, Harrison’s Topsoil & Fertilizer.

My memories of Bud will be of a fun-loving, hard-working, music-loving man with a super sharp memory that he could tap to tell the most fabulous stories of his very long eventful life. For eighteen years, without fail, he sent me a card and a phone call wishing me a “Happy Birthday, Sis!” and the same for his brother. He and his brother were buddies to the end, both having lived into their nineties and leaving us in the same year. That leaves a pretty big void. We’ll have to fill it with all those stories they told and all the memories we have of them. I”m honored to be a part of the family, and what a wonderful family Bud leaves behind.
