To the Forte Family,
I feel the deepest sorrow for your loss. I especially remember the J & G love story, seeing you all after Mass at St Peters and the “Discussion Club” my parents were part of with J & G. They are great memories and I treasure them.
Carol
Uncle Joe has been a father figure to all of us. Some of my fondest memories growing up were going to Beacon Hill to visit Uncle Joe and Aunt Giselda. He helped instill the importance of the family in my life and we all are better for having grown up with a man like Uncle Joe. My heart goes out to Aunt Giselda and the family and I am comforted to know that Uncle Joe is looking down on us knowing that he was such an important part of a great family.
On this Feast of St. Joseph the Worker, I am confident that Uncle Joe is reaping all the rewards of his many “labors of love”, especially those that he shared with all of us. He left us with many cherished memories through his research on the Forte Family and his valued genealogical report. As Uncle Joe’s love of family was the thread that wove us all together, so may we now continue to keep his memory alive by “continuing the weaving”.
Aunt Giselda, Michael, Tony, Mario, and all your dear ones, my love and prayers are with you. We have all lost a much-loved member of our family and I will miss him deeply.
Always,
Gina Rose
Aunt Giselda & Family:
Uncle Joe was my Grandfather figure that I had on my Dad’s side of the family. My Grandpa Rocco past away when I was very young and I was lucky enough to have Uncle Joe in my life. I enjoyed working with him while I worked at ’40’ Rentals when I was younger. He gave us and our future family members the gift of where our family came from. Take care of each other. Love Rhonda
My wife’s sister is married to one of Joe’s sons, Tony Forte. At my first meeting with Joe, he immediately made me part of the family. He had a mannerism of putting people at ease that was a wonderful gift. He genuinely cared about me and my family as was able to communicate that caring. I will miss him deeply. Our family’s thoughts are with the fine Forte family at this time. Joe is at peace.
Dad – You and Mom did a tremendous job raising me, Mike, and Mario. I learned everything about life from you. There’s a huge hole in my life now that’s hard for me to accept. I’ll love you forever and I’ll always make you proud of me. Be at peace now Dad and I know you are now fulfilled in God’s grace.
Tony
Dad-You were my hero. All we have accomplished is due to the support and foundation you and Mom gave us. Your life was one of giving and service. I love you very much and miss you. Your last days were rough and I know you are in God’s gentle care.
Mario
