Obituary
Josephine Dubuque
90 Years Old
She was a devoted Mother who dedicated her life to her children and her grandchildren.
Our Mothers amazing character, strength & selflessness will forever be remembered by our family and all who knew her.
She was a woman of great passion for life, family and many friends.
She enjoyed working, cooking, a good drink and a good laugh.
She was generous, optimistic, eccentric, charismatic and ‘THE ROCK’ for all that knew her.
Services will be held at Wiggen & Sons, 2003 NW 57th St., Seattle, WA on Saturday, July 11, 2009 @ 2:30pm.
In lieu of flowers – the family suggests donations to Seattle Providence Hospice, who helped beyond, through this difficult time.
We have lost the greatest Mother in the world. She loved, she cared and she shared. She was always there for all of us, no matter what.
I found something she wrote and feel it was how she lived:
LIVE LIFE
LOVE LIFE
LOVE ONE ANOTHER
My heart goes out to you Peggy, Eddie & Susie. Mom’s are someone that are always there for us and I know you all will greatly miss her. In moments of sadness, try to remember Mom’s great smile, her happy laugh & that twinkle in her eyes. We all know Jo had a wonderful, full and happy life. I love you guys.
Dear Peggy and family: Even though we never had the pleasure of meeting Josephine, we know that from knowing you, Peggy, she was a wonderful and loving mother and friend. With sympathy, Bruce and Bobbi Martin
I only knew you through Peggy, but I know you are a special person to have such a lovely daughter! I wish your family all of the peace and love that’s possible as they celebrate the life of such a dear person.
I am a good friend of Peggy’s and know how much her mother meant to her. Josephine’s character is reflected in the children she raised, the best tribute anyone can have. I know her family will miss her immensely. God bless Peggy and her sister and brother during this time of loss.
Dear Peggy,
Our hearts go out to you and the family

We love you Peg and our thoughts are with you
I’ve known Mama Jo for about 7 years. I am blessed to have been part of her life.
I admired Jo for her strength, courage and determination. It’s incredible that she worked till her late 80’s! Wow!
Our Mama Jo will be deeply missed and she will always be in her hearts.
As my 58th birthday comes tomorrow July 16th I want pay tribute to one of the best MOM’s a boy could ever want !! I am here today because she never gave up on me & my health issues in my first 5 years of life, when the doctors and everyone else did.
I will miss so many of the special things MOM did for us kids. Ron, Peggy, Susie & I were not the easiest kids to raise by herself, but MOM did one hell of a great job!!
Thanks and Love you – Edd
