I worked at Shepard in the late 80’s through mid 90’s with Joyce. She will be missed by all.

I has the pleasure of being dispatched by Joyce for 12 years on the street, being trained by her to be a dispatcher and then being her boss for several years. She was a great lady and many will miss her.
To the best of my knowledge, Joyce ALWAYS spoke her mind. I have to say, I find that rather heroic. God Speed Joyce!
Farewell my friend
No one will ever be “Joyce, The Voice” again. She had the greatest laugh and sense of humor. Condolences to her family and all Blue Dogs that remember her.

Joyce, a great dispatcher and solid employee. When it snowed, she would work through the storm until it subsided, as long as we sent a crew to get her. The many times she would work extra hours on swing waiting for me to come relieve her to cover graveyard shift. 10-98 Joyce. Your mission is completed.
Joyce, when you see Ricky Ormseth in Heaven give him a big hug and tell him you missed him. Then post him to the ridge all night. Rest well
I went to school and graduated witth Joyce. My sister married her brother (Jerry) she is a true friend I will miss talking to her on facebook and emails. Rest in Peace Joyce.

Joyce, you were one of my best friends and confidants I am very proud to have learned from the best at work. I’ll miss your laughing and joking. You will never be forgotten with all the lives you touched. I am sure you will be telling people in heaven where to go soon.
Be at peace my friend !
Thank you for always being you!
RIP Joyce, thanks for all the good stories at Shepard AMB!
