June Helen (Aunspaw) McGibbon, 96, of Seattle, WA, passed away, peacefully, on August 2, 2016. June is survived by her twin daughters, Lori Clark and Letty Larson, her daughter-in-law, Marie McGibbon-Parrish, grandsons, Ryan (& Theresa) Anderson, Michael Anderson, Mark (& Mealea) Kennison, granddaughters, Brenda (& John) Brandalick, Erin (& Rob) McGibbon-Smith, Krista Oelschlager, and 13 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband, LeRoy, twin sons, Tim and Phil McGibbon, son-in-law, Roger Clark, and daughter, Nancy Anderson.
June was born in Seattle, WA on September 11, 1919. She graduated from West Seattle High School in 1937, where she met and married the love of her life, LeRoy McGibbon. June and Roy spent 60+ amazing years together, raising their family, traveling, and delighted in watching their children and grandchildren realize the love and dreams they hoped for them.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016, 1:00 pm, at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial Park, 16445 International Blvd., SeaTac, WA 98188.
A cure for cancer was near and dear to June’s heart. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory be made to the American Cancer Society.
