It was my privilege to get to know June while she was a frequent patient at Highline Hospital. She was a strong, positive, caring woman who always seemed to think of others before worrying about herself. When she would praise and boast about members of her family,I would often remind her that they were the way they were because of her. She will be missed.

We knew June through her husband, Bob who formed a dance band-

The Forties Four Plus One and Lynn was able play many “Gigs” and got to know June & Bob in a very happy situation. We have many fond memories of both of them.

June was a strong woman, loving and loved. She always had a smile and hug for me, no matter how ill she was feeling. It was truly a privilege and honor to care for her. God has gained a great playground monitor, and we have gained the peace that comes with knowing a truly wonderful person.
