Kathy passed away June 2nd at the University of Washington Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was 52 and had been diagnosed with lung cancer a few months before. This was matched with her love for sunshine, as you could find her attached to her lawn chair nearly every summer day. Singer Josh Groban, Stuffed frogs, and email were interests, and not to forget her favorite TV show, COPS. She is survived by her son Ryan, sisters Judy and Diane, nephews Michael, Skyler and Tyson, and niece Lacey. Her sister Sue preceded her in death. The funeral was Thursday, June 10th at Glendale Evangelical Lutheran Church in Burien. Interment followed at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery in Shoreline. She will be remembered.
