I was sad to see that Kay had passed. Last July 2004 my mother died from a stroke so the pain is still new for me also. My sympathy to her family. I will always remember her great smile and her love of animals. I’m sure April and I gave her a few gray hairs! We were such perfect teenagers! I think Kay was the last one from the “old nieghborhood” on 216th. Mothers are very tough to lose but we have to move on. That is what they would want us to do. What do you think they are all doing in Heaven? Thinking the old nieghborhood is back? My Love to her family God speed Mary Butler

I am sorry to learn of your loss please accept my condolences. May you find comfort in the Holy Scriptures, at John 5:28,29, It speaks about a time when all those in the memorial tomb will come back to life. This is a wonderful promise made by God. This has prove to be of encouragement to my family and me. May you to find comfort from reading God’s Word.

Truly loved and adored I will miss Kay’s beautiful smile and friendship.

A regal and gracious lady who always saw the positive side whatever the circumstance.

I will always have fond memories of our chats at the beauty salon.

I will miss you, dear friend.

I remember my beautiful, beautiful aunt – Her kindness and her love of every living thing. Like the time while driving at night she pulled the car over and rescued a tarantula off the road. Her vivid laugh and gentle spirit will always be with me. I know, Auntie Kay, I will see you again. Give my love to everyone up there.

Your loving niece will never forget you.

Dear Kay,

A friend, a cousin, a delight to talk with, and chat as we both got older and we talked of the present and the past and of this Jensen family which shares our beginnings.

Sweet dreams

“Your voice, my friend, wanders in my heart, like the sound of the sea among the listening pines.”

I am physically and mentally unable to write this down so my husband, Raynor, is leaving his memories of my memory of aunty Kay.

Although not a real aunt, she, my mom Mira Lenox, Julie and I had a lot of fun together.

She was a big part of my life when I was a child. So much so that I have continued to keep in touch via Christmas cards. I regret never having contacted after I moved to the Seattle area last year. I seem to remember horses in the long ago past. What an adventure Kay was.

We enjoyed a number of evenings of cards together. Also, shared Peggy’s friendship.
