Kathy was one of the nicest people I know. She could light up a room with her laugh. She always had a positive attitude, even when there were rough times. She will be missed.

Jaycee, Christopher and family, Your Mom will always be remembered by our family as a cheerful, upbeat individual who was a pleasure to be around. We repaired her red Caravan several times and inspite of the situation, she was still able to smile. Our family, Mike, Donna, Kelly and Colleen and Molly, have known Kathy since you were in grade school, Jaycee! We were your neighbors over on Military Rd. South. Her warm, friendly ways and robust laughter will be greatly missed. We were lucky to have known her. Fondly, The West Family

Jaycee, I remember how much fun your Mom made it for us when we’d come over for a slumber party at your house as kids. She was a fun and very warm lady who always made me feel at home. My thoughts are with you and I’m so sorry for your loss. Colleen

I will never forget Kathy. She was such a wonderful person and mother. I wish so much that I could have spent more time with her. One of the greatest things I have ever seen anyone do is what she did for her daughter Jaycee. She put on a wonderful and magical wedding that I still cherish to this day. It is the standard bar that I set and look at when I compare weddings I go to..none have surpassed it…but much more than that she made it so easy to enjoy. She was the most caring person I have ever met and always wanting all to enjoy themselves. I am going to miss her so much…just looking at her photo brings tears to my eyes. I think the best evidence of her successes is in her children. Both Jaycee and Chris have turned out to be wonderful people. I only hope my own daughter, Jasmine, will be as well adjusted and beautiful. I will not soon forget all the fun we had at the Auburn Parades. I still have the photos….so endearing of Chris and Jasmine walking in the parades. Thanks, Kathy for all the memories..there are many even though we ourselves have not had a chance to meet and chat much. I figure we will do that later…when I meet you after this life is over. Much love to all…Maria Wilson

Jaycee and Chris,

Your mother made this world a better place because she was in it! I want you to know what an influenece she had on my life.

Although her life situations had not always been an easy road, her perserverance, drive and I can do it attitude is a quality that kept her focused until the solution became workable. All that she has accomplished is amazing and you have every right to be proud. Most of the challeneges in her life where not imposed by her choice and I am amazed at the sane and focused way your mother handled herself in stressful, overwhelming, mind bloggling situations. She is one of the stongest, proud and powerful women I know and I feel honored to have been touched with her friendship and family ties. She never spent much time crying over things she couldnt change. She carried herself with beauty, grace and with dignity. Your mother has shared her strong will, power and dedication to more people than you will ever know.

Her dedication to you two is awesome! The way she cared for her Mom, Dad and Brother and the relationships she shared with them was so very caring. She took really good care of any relaionships and we have all been influenced by her style and her kind manner. We are all very lucky to have had her in our lives.
