Thank everyone that came to Dad’s funeral service. We appreciate you sharing this special time with us. May God bless you.
I’m sorry for your loss. I remember Rev. Morris from Seagate Baptist Church in Naples FL. I remember him as a stern but compassionate man who didn’t mince words. We were extremely poor at the time, and my parents lived in a one-room apartment (4 of us) owned by the church, and worked at the church cleaning and helping (I think to pay rent). This was around 1969-1971, and we were living there when my brother died in Vietnam. Sounds like he lived a full life and and touched a lot of other lives.
