LATOYA LATRAYA RIVERA
July 13, 1982 – July 14, 2018
Latoya passed away on Saturday, July 14 at her home in Seattle. Latoya was born in Bad Hersfeld, Germany and
has lived most of her life in the state of Washington.
Toya (to most people), took pleasure being with family and friends. She loved spending time with her siblings and
playing games. Toya also enjoyed listening to music, watching movies and especially watching sports. Being an
avid and loyal Green Bay Packer fan, she always looked forward to football season.
She is survived by her husband, Antony Jon (AJ) Rivera, her mother, Stacy Garner, her father, Walter Harris and her
siblings, Latia Harris, Jamal Harris, Latreea Garner and Richard Garner. As well an many other numerous family
members. Latoya will truly be missed by many.

Rest in peace Latoya you be sorely missed you were a great friend to me and Holly and we will miss you dearly
I will remember her by her kind soul. She was a beautiful person who gave with there heart. Not because she had to but because she wanted to make the world a better place.
The first moment i met toya she ran up to me at karoke and gave me a huge hug. She was always so incredibly kind to everyone she met and she was especially great with my kids. I loved hearing her sing and she was actually really fun to watch at karoke. I feel really blessed to have had her in my life.
She is a beautiful woman whom I briefly met. She had a beautiful smile and positive energy. I’m blessed to have met her even once in my lifetime.
LaToya and I were friends in elementary school, and while I didn’t know her as well as an adult it was obvious she as well-loved and loved those around her. She was a bright spirit with a warm heart.
I remember the times we hung out up at Job Corps – our whole group of friends, we always had a blast. I really miss those days. Latoya was always a great friend to everyone. I’m privileged to be able to say she’s my friend – no matter how long it has been since we saw each other, I knew she still called me a friend just like I still call her my friend. She is a great person, loved by many.
AJ, Annie and Family,
We were saddened hearing about Latoya’s passing from Carol. Just know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May she rest in Peace.
I din’t know LaToya, but know her father in law. I’ve hear nothing but wonderful things about LaToya. My heart goes out to her family and the angels of love are surrounding her now.
Never was there such a kind-hearted and caring person for my brother, AJ. I am so thankful for the many years of memories with Toya… family game nights, listening to music, dancing, laughing… you will always be a part of this family. I’m sorry you didn’t get to meet your nephew, but Grace still talks about her Auntie Toya. We will keep your memory alive. We love you, sis. Thank you for being you. Rest in peace. AJ, our hearts break for your loss. Hopefully, you can find comfort in the family. We are always here for you.
It was a privilege getting to meet Toya and having the opportunity to spend time with her at family get-togethers. Her love and devotion to AJ was always apparent as was her commitment to the family. She leaves a hole in the family that no one else can fill. Thank God for her life and for the impact she had. AJ, I’m praying that our heavenly Father will wrap His arms of love and comfort around you and give you the strength and peace to face each new day.
Rest in peace sweet LaToya. We were all privileged to have shared your time and company. You are gone way too soon and we will all miss you dearly. Thank you for being AJs best friend and soulmate. Love you!
Love toya RIP toy will be missed but never forgotten
