Lauren was absolutely a beautiful person. My best memory was of his home on Mirror Lake, the day we dancers came to visit and I got to swim across the lake! Marjorie showed us her scrapbook of all her dancing years. I considered Lauren a very dear friend. Betty McLain and Smitty McLain

My codolences and love to Grandma Marge, Mark Dana, and Debbie Dana at this time. I met Lauren for the first time during the summer of 1986 when Valerie and I were living with Marjorie. Lauren and Marjorie were just getting to know each other that summer. On one occassion, I was walking through the house, turned the corner into the living room, and saw them kiss good-bye. I saw sparks fly. It was awesome. I backed away silently. I liked talking with Lauren. I liked going to the garage and seeing the Jaguar he was rebuilding/repairing at that time. I could tell that he had a passion for that. I liked getting the updates on his children and grandkids and about his father farming potatoes in Alaska. I appreciated the fact that he would drive Marjorie would drive over to Kennewick just to see us and for special occassions. He was a good guy and I am very glad that I got to know him.

Dear Lauren

Although,we are unable ot be there on Monday, you will always be in our thoughts and prayers. There will be a “Special Place” in Heaven for you where the Jaguars never need repair. Although, you could take them apart and make them better than new in your sleep.

Your Friends
