My dearest dad…I am so very lucky to have lived my 57 years loving and knowing you as my dad. You are one of the most kind, caring, and mild person I will ever meet in my entire life. We’ve enjoyed lefse and lutefisk through the years-so a lot of memories will never be forgotten. I love you forever, and I will “Be There” someday. Love, Audrey

Dad, I miss you so much, but I know you are finally at peace and your body is whole and strong again, like the Dad who always gave me big hugs. You were always there for me. I would not be the person I am today if not for you. Our last nights together, were nights I will cherish always. You leave behind a legacy of three grandchildren who made you proud. I am comforted by knowing you and Mama are together through all eternity. Tell Mom I have the lefse rolling pin.

Words really cannot describe what grandpa meant to all of us. His hard work, dedication, and love, all for the betterment of his family are lofty goals we all aspire to. If we are half the man grandpa was we still all would live great lives. I only hope that I can make grandpa and grandma proud by working hard and loving my family as much as they did. And don’t you worry grandpa, I will always remember to keep my snoot over the table.

To my Grandpa:

I hope that you and Grandma are taking some time off from cleaning up there to enjoy your eternal retirement. I know when we get there you will have made it spotless for us all. Your meticulous attention to detail is something that I will remember forever and can only hope to carry on. Although farouche I could always count on you for a good one on one conversation; no one listens like you! The poolside swims, days at Lake Chelan, visits to Mcdonalds for our favorite milkshakes and personally cut grapefruits are over but will always be remembered and cherished and hopefully passed on to those we love now. It is with the utmost respect and love that I say goodbye to you, Grandpa.

Dearest and Loving Grandpa,

What can I say other then you were an inspiration to me. Your quiet demeaner and content personality meant the world to me. You cared so much for your family that you have passed this down to us to live on with your memory. Thank you for being apart of my life and loving my mom as much as you did. I can rest knowing that you have joined grandma where you wanted to be with her always. Thank you for the memories I can hold close to me forever. Rest in peace and may God bless you. I Love you always, and keep your snoot over the table up there. :
