I am so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. I wish the family well during this sad and difficult time.
Our deepest sympathies to you all.We wish you only happy memories of times with your father. He was a good friend to us at the senior center.
I know to loose a parent is a terrible loss. But on the right side, your Dad is never to be in pain again. I am so thrilled that he gave his life to the Lord, and the angels in heaven sang in heavenley tones.
I hope that all is behind, and now only looking forward.
I love you all, and our prayers are with you.

LaVerne was very involved at the Issaquah Senior Center for many years. He served on the Board of Directors as President. He was also a volunteer that assisted other seniors in grocery shopping, and providing seniors rides to the Center for lunch. For over twenty years he was a member and participant. He will be remembered by many seniors and staff of the center that he knew over the years. We were very glad to know him and thankful for all of his service to Issaquah seniors.
I will always have a picture of LaVerne sitting in the middle of a huge group of his children with his wife Glenna by his side at various family gatherings. He always had a big grin on his face and a proud look in his eyes. It was a special treat to be included in such a warm and fun loving family! I will never forget and I will ever be grateful! Love to you all…Danielle
LaVerne was a significant person at the Issaquah Senior Center. He drove the Senior van for trips and also for gathering people for the lunches on Tuesdays and Fridays. He served as the Board President for several years and I served with him as Secretary and then as Vice President. We became good friends and sat at the same table for the lunches at the Senior Center. He was such a well-liked gentleman, quiet but very warm and friendly. I will miss him, as I’m sure many at the Center will also.
