Obituary
Lawrence Edward Henning, Sr.
August 14, 1942-August 4, 2009.
Known to his friends and family as Larry, he was born in Devils Lake, North Dakota and moved to the Seattle area when his parents relocated in 1945. Larry graduated from Woodside High School in 1962 and worked at A.O. Smith as a sandblaster until 1981 when he retired due to poor health. He was an avid supporter of the local limited hydro races, a member of the APBA & an occasional participant in the Competition Jet races at Lake Spanaway and Lake Sammamish. His favorite hobby was building R/C Airplanes. A member of the Mount Rainier R/C Society, he was often found out at Pfiffer Field flying and displaying his latest creations until his health no longer permitted.
Larry is survived by his son Lawrence Edward Grove and his Grandson Christopher Lawrence Grove. A private family memorial will be held later this month.

I want people to now that my father was a good man. I miss the time we used to spend riding bikes together on the green river trail together. I miss how excited he would get when he would watch me fly my kites at westport. I even remeber cutting down trees around the
area he lived in spanaway. I have so many good memories of times I spent with him, more then I thought. I forgive him for all the hard times we went through and I miss him and am glad he is in a better place with his parents. I know I never said it enough, I love you dad and you will be missed. I love you dad, thanks for all the great memories.
