I had the pleasure of working with Leanne on the Boeing FCS / BCTM program. She was a terrific systems engineer at work, and a wise and compasionate friend outside of work. I will always treasure the time I got to spend with Leanne.

Leanne was a great friend and dive buddy. We had 4 dive trips to warm water together and she made them memorable with her smile and laughter. Having lunch and dinner while at home and riding the “DUCKS” in Seattle round out the fun times we had. I miss her and will always have a warm spot in my heart for her along with my memories. My condolences to her family.

Leanne was the most wonderful friend and neighbor. She always had a new yard or house project and she always had a smile that lit up the block. She was kind and compassionate to both human and animal. It breaks my heart that I will never again see her, across the street, mowing her yard in her adorable funky outfits. I can’t imagine how devastating this is for her family. My prayers are for them.

We knew Leanne from the early Boeing days on the 757 project. She was part of that special group that not only worked together cohesively, but socialized extensively outside of work. At the time, we didn’t know what a special group that was and Leanne was one of the reasons. She was always fun, endearing and up to do anything. We are sorry we didn’t stay in better contact with her over the years and were very touched how Sam & Jeff handled themselves at her Memorial. She would have been so proud. Our sympathies to her entire family for your loss.

Dear Don and Shirley,

I was shocked to see Leanne’s obituary. I was looking for directions to a home in Normandy Park for my sister and decided to see if you still lived in the area. I was just talking to my mom, who is now 91, how sweet she was as a little girl. As a mother, I can’t imagine the hurt and loss you are feeling.

God be with you and your family.
