Leland “Lee” WARNER
Born March 3, 1930 in North Dakota, went to be with the Lord on August 16, 2007. Preceded in death by his daughter Karen Lee. Lee moved to Coulee City when he was 9 and then on to White Center. He attended Mt. View Elementary School where he met Richard Lyons. Richard became Lee’s best friend in life and also his best man at his wedding. Lee met Bonnie Jean Gilmore when he was 18. They married 1 year later and had 5 children. Lee and Bonnie were married for 57 years. Lee had Southgate Trading Post and also Lee’s Sanitation. He was a successful business man in Burien for over 50 years. Lee loved to hunt and fish with his family and friend Dick Lyons. He also loved to spend time at his cabin at Hood Canal and their place in Arizona. Lee was a great family man and a member of Highline Methodist Church and the Elks. Lee is survived by his wife Bonnie; four children Richard Thomas, Alan Lee, Marjorie Louise and Lorna Rae; grandchildren Natalie, Richard, Rob, Jennifer, Jeff, Andy, Jacob and Amanda; great-grandchildren Jordan, Ryan, Trevor, Josh, Ethan, Collin and Brendon; his nephews Rod, Lewis, Buzz and Gary and many more loved ones. Visitation Sunday, August 19, 2007 from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM and Monday, August 20, 2007 from 9:00 AM – 12:45 PM at Bonney Watson Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd. Graveside service 1:00 PM Monday, August 20, 2007 at Washington Memorial Park followed by a 2:00 PM Memorial service at Highline Christian Church, 14859 – 1st Avenue S., Burien.
