Walt and I will miss your
smiling face and stories Leonard that you told when we picked you up to drive to our monthly in-law lunches , Love Cousin Joanne
I already miss my dad’s smile and calm manner. I look forward to seeing him again in heaven when I die.
Having lost my grandparents a number of years earlier before I met and married Leonard’s granddaughter Amy, Leonard beacame a grandparent to me. There weren’t that many times together during the last 7 years, but enough to enjoy. We could count on the anniversay card and birthday cards for the kids like clock work, usually one of the first to arrive. I’m glad to have known him and be related through my marriage to Amy.
I’m Taryn’s neighbor, and wish all your family God’s peace and comfort at your time of loss.

Grandpa Hill ROCKED!
One of my favorite things about my grandpa was that he had no favorites…he loved every member of his family equally. He loved a good meal with family. He taught me how to play golf w/ wooden shafts and clubs, kiss my wife wife when I got home from work one of my earliest memories of him and grandma, and make church a priority.
One of my favorite experiences with my grandpa was on a trip he and my twin Jason made to Las Vegas to visit me while I was working down there. His favorite thing about the trip was “the brown gravy at the buffet at the Flamingo”. When checking out of the hotel, he noticed that Jason and I had charged every bar tab from the hotel pool for those three days to the room. It was probably about a week’s paycheck for me at the time. All grandpa said when he saw the two and a half page bill was “at least I can tell when the waitresses were cute!”
I know he is in heaven with grandma now and I am so thankful he was around to meet my daughter. He will be remembered with smiles…and missed.
Tell her we miss and love you both! We’ll take great care of little Peaches!
