Mom made sure that you had a beautiful service & that you did. You have so many people that loved & cared about you Lenny & it was proven on that day. There were so many kind & loving words shared about you by so many. Thank you so much to everyone that attended Lenny’s service. Your kind words & presence meant alot to our family.

Love you!
Dear Lenny,
Although I didn’t know you long, only about 3 yrs. but you made an impression on me with your courage and big heart of a gentle giant. Always helping out others w/ your kindness. What a fighter you were, until the very end with that wonderful sense of humor still in tact. I knew you liked me because you always gave me crap. You were an amazing son, brother, and uncle to your family as I witnessed on many occasions over the last 3 yrs.
R.I.P.
Love Dane

LENNY YOU ARE MY TWIN AND ALWAYS WILL BE. JERRY AND I ENJOYED OUR FISHING TRIPS, HORSE RACES AND PUYALLUP FAIR. YOU WOULD GIVE THE SHIRT OFF YOUR BACK IF YOU HAD TO AND WAS SO GENEROUS TO SO MANY. YOU JUST DIDN’T KNOW HOW TO SAY NO TO ANYONE. YOU WERE JUST AN OLD SOFTIE TO EVERYONE YOU MET. OUR FAMILY WILL MISS YOU SO MUCH. YOU WERE SO GOOD TO MOM OVER THE YEARS. YOU WERE ALWAYS SO UPBEAT DURING ALL THE TREATMENTS. THANK GOODNESS YOU DIDN’T HAVE ANY PAIN. LOVE YOU VERY MUCH, LINDA AND JERRY
I was the terminal manager at Union Pacific Motor Freight from 1985 to 1991, Mitch was one of those special drivers that always went the extra mile to do a good job, he was kind, considerate and just a nice guy, I am sorry to hear of his passing.
Mitch was a great employee and fun to hang around with. He is remembered fondly.
Lenny, I have so many memories of our childhood. You walking me home when I stayed too late at Aunt Margie’s house, talking and playing games. Dave & I loved coming to pick you up and spending time with you. We all went up to Packwood/High Valley to camp, picnic and enjoy the mountains. When you bought your cabin we spent a lot of time together and it was so much fun. I remember the time that you gave me a piggy back ride over a cold river I was a lot smaller back then. You were yelling it was so cold and I was screaming in your ear – “Don’t drop me”! You didn’t drop me because you would never do anything to hurt anyone.
You were so gentle and kind and I loved that about you.
You came back to visit us when we moved to Montana. You were always close to family and you will be missed by many.
I always enjoyed being with you.
Rest in peace Lenny, I love you, Your cousin, Janice

Hey Lenny Maynard
I miss you so much and always will. I thought of you more as a brother than a brother-in-law. Remember how we’d laugh when we’d bring up about me asking you for Patti’s phone number.??!!
There were some things I would have like to say to you but you went so fast. But will when we meet up again.
Rest In Peace…….!!!!
Love from Abe

I knew that you were a special person by all the friends that came up to you to talk and shake your hand. I will miss your friendship and our near weekly get togethers. Shirley will miis you also. You never failed to ask about her when we talked. You were and are a very gentle Soul. I won’t say goodbye, but will say, till we meet again.

I pray for God’s comfort for the family of Lenny. Peace be with you.
I, & everyone at the UP, enjoyed working with Lenny. He left us too soon.
My darling Lenny,
I remember how excited I was when you and Linda were born. I went running to school and told the teacher that my sister had twins. A little boy and little girl and they weighed 3 lbs each. You were always the sweetest boy. You grew up to be a sweet and giving man. Remember when you couldn’t call me Wilma and so you would call me Llama? Uncle Ray and Marjie started to call me Llama too. I will always remember you calling me Carol Burnet and asking me to sing “Won’t you come home Bill Bailey”. I adored you and will always love you sweet nephew.
Your Auntie Wilma

Lenny will surely be missed by all who knew and loved him. God now has a special angel. I will miss his wonderful dry sense of humor. He was such a sweet man. I am so honored to have known and loved him. Bless the Family and let them always remember the good times.
Our deepest condolences to your family-
Lenny was a nice quiet soft spoken man from what we know, he was very freindly and always said hello and didn’t mind if we sat and bugged him and sis while he was eating his favorite french toast. Your family is very strong just like ours and will make it through this hard time. Thank you for all the smiles and friendship. Lenny and Rudy will be having the best of times in heaven, because good people never die they live through others whoms hearts they’ve touched.

Dear sweet cousin Lenny,
The memories come flooding back when I think of you. You are one of the sweetest souls I’ve ever known. You never asked for anything for yourself, but you gave so much to others. That’s a gift God gave you and you used it well. As kids we had so much fun. One memory I have is when we were both at Grandma’s house on 10th and we were playing with Uncle Lou’s dog Nig. You told me to put a leash on him and run to the top of the hill. I had no idea that you were going to call him and that he ran like a race horse. You called him and I was literally flying through the air. I wet my pants and you laughed all day. When you had your cabin in Packwood we all loved walking through the woods, having a few drinks by the fire and just talking. I feel so lucky that your mom and my mom kept us all so close and loved. Thanks for all the memories Lenny. I’m so lucky to have had you in my life.
Forever in my heart,
Judy
sorry you left so soon lenny it was great working with you. jack
Lenny you are going to be so missed by so many people. When I married your little brother I had no idea my siblings would grow to 4 more immediately but they did and I got an older brother! The way I am going to remember you is always a smile, ready to help anyone no questions asked, the heart of a giant and the soul of a lamb. We miss you more than words can express but what a great group of people to go home to…your dad, your grandparents, uncles, aunt, cousin, my mom and dad, Edy, and then last but not least our Dean…what a fantastic group to be ‘home’ with…we Love you Lenny but are grateful you’re well and happy. Until we see you again remember how much you meant to everyone. Love you Dar
I remember you, Linda, Patti & I going to HP wading pool for hours during the summers where we thought we learned to swim by playing crocodiles, then to the tennis courts & spread out our towels to dry off, the four of us kids climbing our cherry trees and eating till we burst, you and I picking a flat of blackberries on Boeing Hill and sell them for $1 at Worden’s Mkt. Remember the times we use to walk to Gma Hauskins house and learned to play pinochle w/gma and Louis. While in high school we would go to the Teamsters Union hall on Airport Way till we would get picked as swampers to unload trailers or box cars, we especially liked working at Pioneer Fruit as we got all we could eat. While raising my family we didn’t see each other a lot but I always knew you had my back if I needed you.I’ll never forget the Fri or Sat nights at Patti’s playing pinochle. Lenny you are kind, gentle and generous, that’s why we gave our son Dean your name as his middle name. Love you big brother – Ray

My Dearest Uncle Lenny,
Words cannot express the pain I felt when I heard you were gone. I loved you so much. I have so many wonderful memories of you.
I remember when you would come pick me, Curtis & Corey up on the bus & take us to the Seattle Center for the day where we would ride lots of rides & eat tons of junk food, until we felt sick…what fun! I remember many wrestling & boxing matches at the Seattle Center that you would faithfully attend with Curtis, Corey & I in tow. Even though I was a girl, I amazingly enjoyed it. Ha Ha! And, not once did we miss a carnival in White Center…thanks to you Uncle Lenny!
There is not enough room to list all the memories here, but I don’t need to…I have them in my heart.
We all loved you very much Lenny & we will all miss you deeply.
And, don’t worry Lenny….I will look after Mom, she will be fine.
Love,
Your Niece,
LeeAnn
