Leonard Nathan Evans
Leonard Nathan Evans passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 98 on September 5, 2013. Leonard was born in Ellensburg WA, on August 16, 1915. He is survived by his children Robin T. Evans and Ila M. Evans-Thompson and grandchildren, Zachary F. Thompson II, and Dalen A. Thompson, and many nieces and nephews, and first cousins.
Leonard served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II and retired from United Air Lines.
Visitation Wednesday, September 11th from 2:00 – 6:00pm at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd., SeaTac, WA 98188. A funeral service will held at 12:00 noon, Thursday, 9/12/2013 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 6020 Beacon Ave. S., Seattle, WA 98108, 206-722-5165. A luncheon will immediately follow the service.

I just now found out about this. Mr. Evans was one of my most favorite people in the whole wide world. One of my father’s best friends. They met in the merchant marines. An amazing addition to our family. And my children loved him. I lost contact with him in the 90s. Sending much love to all of you. Thank you for sharing him with us.
