Letha Louise SMITH died Easter Sunday, April 23, 2000. She was born in Worden, OR on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1911.

A previous resident of Cedarville, CA and Salem, OR, she enjoyed sewing, cultivating African Violets, and gardening. She always had a strawberry patch.

She was mother to four daughters: Carolyn Thomas-Heffter, Jan Steiner, Niki Hansen, and Marcia Smith. She had 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren.
