Where does some one start? Nanny has touched so many lives, and has improved every one of them in some special way. I remember looking forward to seeing her because she gave the best hugs. No matter how many problems I brought with me she could always find the silver lining in my darkest clouds.

Growing up I have so many great memorys of her. some simple like finding frogs on Mt. Rainier some extravigant like special day long birthday celebrations, but no matter what she always made me feel special. I think that she had a rare gift of making everyone feel special.

She has made such a positive impact on my life and will live forever in my mind and heart. I could write on and on about her…… I think anybody who knew her could. But, to some it up….. I will always think of her as our angle in life, now and forever.

I will always remember your open arms and hugs. I will remember how easy it was to laugh with you. I will remember your generous concern about everyone around you. I will remember the love between you and Dad. I will remember all the pictures on your walls and know you loved every one of us. You were a wonderful step-mom and I will never forget you. I miss you!!!! Patty

I am so glad I called Aunt Lila back in December. I will sure miss her and her laughter. I have so many memories… one of my favourite being she and Darrell kidnapping me from the hospital and taking me to see the Seattle Super Sonics. We had no tickets… we ended up buying from a scalper… Our seats were not together but some how we managed!

I love and will miss you greatly Aunt Lila! You truely hold a special place in my heart….

Love,

Rachel

I have fond memories of Lila when she worked for Employment Security and I was the Director of the Puget Sound Region. My best to your family.
