I was Linda’s aqua arthritis instructor at the Matt Griffin YMCA. Linda was everyone’s favorite classmate. She laughed so much and also we all got big hugs. No one even wants to stand in her special spot. She had such a good sense of humor and really made our class fun. I can’t tell you how much we all miss her. If members didn’t know her name, they knew her by her speedy chair. She was the lady with the red hair and the fast fast motor chair. “Look out here comes Linda”. Dan came to almost every class and watched and supported her. He meant the world to her and she told us many times how she was truly spoiled by him. Yes, a great husband. Just know Linda, you will never be forgotten, we loved you dearly and miss you.

What a lovely spirit. As her big sister we got into a lot of trouble together but we also had some great times and remained friends as adults. She met Dan on a double date with me and my then boyfriend, and I can truly say it was love at first sight. My daughters loved her kindness and great sense of humor. I will always remeber her laughter and her love of butterflies, dragon flies and the color “purple.” Rest in peace Linda. I will always love you.

Forever,

Sharron

I will miss our chat sessions before exercise class. Linda spoke so lovingly of Dan. I will miss her cheerful “good afternoons” when we would pass each other in the pool at the stroke of noon.

My mother was a kind, colorful, funny and compassionate woman with a beautiful soul. I am so very saddened by her passing and by all the things she would have been here for during my journey. I am so thankful for the time that I did have with her and for all the lives that she touched with her joyous laugh, friendliness and sense of humor. She taught me to enjoy the little things in life and to laugh as much as possible. I will miss her and think about her always.
