Lloyd was the one who interviewed me for a job here at Boeing. I was hired in facilities and work under his direction. Work with him in BEC too. I’m still here after 32 plus years. I remember Lloyd always having a smile on his face. He was a great manager to work for.

God Bless.

Lloyd, I don’t know how or where, but I remember our time together at Boeing. I appreciated your willingness to spend time with me explaining the structureal systems involved in the projects I was administering or inspecting. Although I haven’t kept up with you since retirement, I can appreciate the sadness of those close to you at their loss.

To the Downs family, I am saddened by your loss and look forward to the days when fond memories can replace the grief and loss you are feeling today.

To my dear friend Kelly, we have seen each other through many life changes from Kindergarten to high school, marriages, children and sadly now losing a parent. I’m sending you thoughts of comfort and peace. Your Dad was great and will be missed by many. Love Marilyn

To the Downs family we are sorry for your loss we know the that this is not an easy time for the family and we wanted to share some brief words of encouragement. When someone we love dies it can make us fell numb, but we have found it helpful to meditate on the promises of our creator , which he states that he will bring back our loved ones to life and wipe away all our tears ,he will also remove the thing that has cause us so much pain that is death itself Revelation 231:3,4. This promise will come true for it is impossible for GOD to lie Isaiah 55:11 We hope that you can find comfort and may GOD be with you, with sincere regrets Dwain Drinkard

To the Lloyd Downs Family,

So sorry for your loss. I had the privalage of going to USU

Eng. Dept. with Lloyd and then we worked in Facilities at Boeing since 1960. He was one of the first people I saw as I walked into Boeing on my first day of work. I was so surprised and it made me feel so good to see a familiar face amoung those thousands of people and to be in the same department was really cool. We worked on many projects together during our many years at Boeing.

I also had the honor of a fishing trip to Vancouver Island. Lots of fun. Lloyd was a real gentleman and a good friend who will always be remembered.

God Bless all of you.

Clair
