My Grandma Lois was a very special woman. Throughout the years, I do not recall a single moment when she wasn’t smiling and having fun. I knew that she tried her hardest to make everything perfect each and every time my family came over, whether it was simply for a visit or for the holidays. I will never forget the time I told her that I would not drink out of the jelly jar she poured my soda in and she just laughed. I could never ask for a better grandmother…and no matter the distance between us…she will forever be in my heart.

Lois was one of those special individuals that that you always wanted to be around. Despite the numerous health challenges that Lois had incurred, she always remained positive about life and the people around her. I have special memories of Lois and her sister Joanne and her mother Rosie from my teen-age years. I especially remember their love of music.

I would like to think that Lois is now playing the piano with the angels.
