Obituary
Lois Dorrine Raffetto, age 80, passed peacefully at her home on August 8, 2005. Lois is survived by her two sons, Brent Mary and Benjamin John Dian Raffetto; three daughters, Paula Raffetto Maier Dave, Terri Anne Raffetto and Janet Campbell Jeff; ten grandchildren, Tanya Chris, Travis, Natalie, Ryan, Jason, Lisa, Ali, Sean, Katie and Kelly; two great grandsons, Parker and Tanner; cousins, Edie, Melanie Mike, Bill and Leslie Raggio of Reno, NV and numerous friends including those at Harrison House. She was preceded in death by her husband John Anthony Raffetto in 1982. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend but also enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino. We thank all who contributed to her heartfelt joy for life. Graveside committal services will be held on Friday, August 19, 2005 at 1:00 PM at BONNEY-WATSON Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd., SeaTac, WA 206 242-1787. Memorials in her name may be made to the American Heart Association.
As Paula’s sister-in-law it was my pleasure to meet and come to know Lois through various family gatherings – my favorite times being on Bainbridge Island at Paula and Dave’s home. Lois had an expansive heart and loving arms to genuinely welcome people into her circle and make them feel special. Her quick wit and down to earth sensibility were a great personality combination to observe and obviously served her well in raising five fine kids who have taken that legacy to raise remarkable children of their own. I know she will live on in the hearts and memories of her kids and her many grandkids. My love and sympathy to all the “Raffetto” clan along with applause to Lois for a well lived life. God Bless,
