Obituary
Loren Duane Harrison, age 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 29, 2018, at Providence Hospital in Centralia, Washington. He was born March 27, 1926 in Portland, Oregon to Hazel and Harold Davis. He is survived by his daughter Diane Kamla, late son Gerald Duane Harrison, step daughter Patricia Dujari and Susan Weldon. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Loren worked for over 40 years at Boeing Aerospace as a machinist and retired from here. He proudly served his country in the Navy from 1940-1943 and received several medals to include: Asiatic Pacific Area Campaign Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal and World War II Victory Medal. Loren was a long time member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Centralia, Washington.
Loren enjoyed gardening, touring in his younger years on his motorcycle across the country, working on cars and in general fixing things. After retirement from Boeing his did some snow birding in Arizona but ultimately settled in Centralia, Washington. Many thanks to the staff of Stillwaters Colonial Residence for the loving and professional care they provided to Loren in his final years.
A memorial service will take place on July 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Bonney-Watson in Washington Memorial Park in SeaTac. Washington.
