Loretta M WHITTED-of Seattle WA, where she lived her whole life, passed peacefully in her home on August 31, 2023. She was lovingly known as Mom, Lori, Whitty and Grandma Tiger.
She was an incredibly hard working wife, mother, and career woman who loved life and embraced all that it entailed. She was always optimistic and encouraging.
She is survived by daughter Debra Brown of Bend, OR, Grand children Robin Sturm of Reno, NV, Brian Casey of Goldendale, WA and Emily Witt of Alfalfa, OR and 10 Great-Grandchildren. Also her Significant other of 21 years, Frank McNeil as well as her brother, Lyle McRae.
She was an amazing human being and so loved by her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.
Lori was my sister-in-law for 53 years. She welcomed me to the family warmly and graciously. In many ways she was a real sister to me and Jim and I spent many fun times and holidays with Lori and Vern. Our family get togethers were legendary, since Lori had five brothers! I will miss her. My husband preceded Lori by one year.
Lori was not only my sister-in-law but a very dear friend. John and I spent many a family picnic, holidays, fishing and boating with her and Vern.I will miss her.My husband passed five years before her.
“Robbie” is what she called me.
Grandma, my heart has so much love for you. You were an amazing grandmother and I’m so grateful for the times I got to spend with you as a little girl, and as an adult. It brings me such joy that you got to meet my daughters, your great granddaughters, before you left this earth. I realize this is the first October of my life I will not receive a birthday card from you. It has been a real honor getting to know more about the woman you were, now, after you’re gone. I have always admired you, but now even more. You live on in our hearts. ♥️
I love you Mom 💗 and I always will. You were the perfect mother for me. You helped me through every trouble in life and no matter what you were going through you were strong for me. A wonderful example and of love and strength. May your soul rest in the arms of God and I will see you again.
