Loretta Scheschy

July 14, 1961 - June 19, 2025

Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Loretta Scheschy, who peacefully departed on June 19th, 2025, in her own home. She was a wife, a sister, a daughter, a loving mother, an even more loving grandmother and great grandmother, and a friend to anyone that knew her.

She was born on July 14th, 1961 in Billings Montana to Louise and Norman Aisenbrey. Loretta studied nursing at Renton Technical College and graduated in 1991. She was a nurse for 20 years before becoming ill and having to retire. That didn’t stop her from enjoying life and spending every minute she could with loved ones and family.

Loretta’s son, Theodor Scheschy, preceded her in death. Loretta left behind her husband Louis “Mike” Scheschy, brothers Norman Aisenbrey Jr. and Albert Aisenbrey, sister Lorraine Bland, her 3 other children Jonathon Scheschy, Amanda Henderson and Marie Terrio, her 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Family was always an important piece of Loretta’s heart. She and her husband, Mike, hosted most of the family holidays, poker nights, and family gatherings. She spent most of her time with her grandkids doing many different art projects, baking, and enjoying watching them grow. Loretta had the biggest heart and would always open her door to anyone that needed anything, especially if they were hungry and needed a plate during the holidays. Her legacy and love will never be forgotten.

I remember Loretta’s smile fondly, she could light up the room. From the early days of Bob’s Pizza where she served our customers well to her bethrothel to Mike and their move to Washington it was always a joy to see the life she and Mike built around family and home. May she rest in peace for a life well lived.

I am immensely saddened by our loss of such a loving matriarch of the M&L Scheschy family.

I’ve enjoyed watching, hearing and participating in Loretta’s life. She was very knowledgeable in many subjects and was happy to lend an ear, and advice, when I had a concern.

Loretta, and my brother, Mike, were a fabulous team, especially during major holidays. I couldn’t wait to hear each one summed up. Christmas and Easter, especially.

Loretta knew food was the way to our hearts and she made every event special. Loretta was a very good cook!

Loretta’s love for her husband, “kids”, grandkids, greats, and family, as well as any other person who walked beside Loretta, in a kind and loving way, will always be touched by her gifts of loving connection.

We were ALL blessed to have Loretta in our lives. She will be forever missed and loved. I love you, Loretta.

To family, I’m so very sorry for your loss, and mine, as well. May Loretta rest peacefully knowing how deeply loved she is and that she is no longer in pain. 💝
